Friday, July 01, 2011 - Athens Regional Emergency Department recently announced a monthly reduction in overtime of 600 hours. Translated to Dollars this savings equals ~$10,000. Department Director Kimberly Tyler comments, "The self-scheduling aspect of Staffing Angel" has enabled our PRNs to log-in and accept more shifts. Shifts that used to be scheduled manually...lots of phone calls, can now be picked up online. Often these shifts were given to employees already in overtime, which created a financial burden on our budget" "Not only are we saving money each month, but our employees really enjoy the self-service aspect of Staffing Angel!"
